Oven quits

apparently many other people have had the same issue with this range i have had. there over 33 pages on the samsung community chat about this oven's ignitor quitting! very frustrated that i spent quite a bit of money on a range that only half works. this is not acceptable!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Dont waste your money

purchased unit from a vendor not online. when the unit was delivered all seemed to be working well. within 24 hours the front panel partially failed. the vendor said i needed to call samsung, which i did. samsung doesn’t have an authorized servicer near me. took them 3-4 days to find a servicer. this servicer happen to be the one who messed up my previous stove. when i discussed this with them i was told that is all they could offer. no way that company will ever enter my house. they have a 2 star rating on yelp. returned stove to vendor and bought a range through a local company that services what they sell. they dont sell samsung.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Laminate peeling

so we have had our range for sometime and the black laminate is peeling near the gas control knobs. di you have replacement panels? we paid good money and was told its a great product.

Poor materials

functionally, this is a nice range. however, if you care how it will look after 3 years, think twice about purchasing it. the control panel is rusting. looks horrible. i would never expect this for a stainless steel appliance.

smooth and easy to use. a real delight gas flows easy and burners are easy to use.oven is spot on with roast,convection and bake. temperature probe is actually accurate. fun to cook with this kitchen must

Plastic garbage

i spent big money on new kitchen upgrades - all samsung. a few months after using the range, the first knob broke. it looked like stainless, same as the range itself, it's plastic. i had to replace all of the knobs in a short time. they melt or crack, and when you need new ones, samsung wants fifty bucks each for a piece of garbage plastic.

Major repair after 4 years

my range is 4 years old. the problems were minor - the warming drawer doesn't work, the self-cleaning function doesn't get the oven clean, and the stainless steel cooktop scratches very easily. but then the glow board died. the repairman said they usually last 6-8 years. it cost me $450 to fix and i couldn't use the oven for 3 weeks. i'm very disappointed that the range required a major repair after only 4 years.
