Product has great features

This range fit our current configuration in our kitchen. This is a very good looking unit and dressed up our kitchen. This has a lot of high tech features. The only thing I do not like about it is the fan runs constantly while cooking in the oven and it is a bit annoying.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color
Cons: annoying fan
I would recommend this to a friend!

Thanks for the feedback, and we're glad to hear you like your Slide-in Gas Range! The convection fan is supposed to run when Convection Bake or Convection Roast are selected in order to circulate the hot air. Try selecting regular Bake or Roast modes to cook without the convection fans (note: they should still cycle on to preheat, and may occasionally run to maintain the set temperature).

Samsung Slide-in Gas Range

The range looks terrific. It was a bit awkward putting in because of the little sidepieces that sit on top the granite and are glass, so you have to be really careful and of course NOT lift it up! The range works great except that all the small burners are in the back and if you have big pots in front on the big burners, sometimes it is hard to get to the small pots. Design flaw - at least one small burner should be in the front - my opinion! Really like the conversion to convection feature. However, the "pops" referred to in the manual as the oven heats up are sometimes more like bangs than pops. And the grates are not always level. If you put them on one way, they aren't and if you 180 degree them. they are! So just level them and maybe put some kind of mark on them for when you take them off to clean. Other than that, I love it!!! No other problems so far! And cheaper than most slide ins, but looks really expensive!
Pros: Inexpensive, appearance, great features, convection and regular
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't Purchase!!

My gas range is 1 1/2 years old, the oven is rusting inside and after a self-clean cycle the thermostat went. Not a cheap range, I'm very disappointed.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks Good - Poor Performance

DO NOT BUY THIS STOVE. It looks impressive but it sorely lacks good functionality. First, the center top grill burner is under-powered and useless.
Second, the oven is a challenge at best. Overall, it doesn’t seem to cook uniformly. I have turned OFF the “Convection Conversion” option that is supposed to automatically adjusts the oven temperature for Convection cooking. When this option is turned ON the food doesn’t seem to be cooked. When using Convection cooking I just use it like a regular oven.
Third, the warming drawer is useless. It takes almost 30 minutes to heat up. It has a Low, Medium, and High setting, but it seems that only the High setting does any good.
Fourth, the only top burner that has a good range of heat control is the “Power” burner. The other burners make cooking a “planning” endeavor because of their adjustment ranges. One burner give a nice high range but poor low range, while another burner gives only an adequate high range but nice low range. Consequently, you often have to start moving “stuff” around to different burners to get it cooked properly.
Another problem is its heights adjustment. It can be raised by the adjustable feet but NOT lowered. For example, if the stove sits on tile but the adjoining counter does not, the stove top will not sit flesh with the counter top. Consequently, there is a gap that traps spills and other crud.
Overall, if you want something that looks pretty this is your stove. If you want something that works well look at another brand.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, overall poor performance.

Gas Range

Been using this Gas Range for a month and it cooks our food always perfect. Could be my wife cooking delicious food. The range must be helping a lot. Only one small annoying thing is, one of the burner takes several sparks before it comes on. I wonder if anyone can suggest a solution for this.
Aside from than we just love our Gas Range.
Pros: Durable, Realistic color

The look of this range is great. The stainless top and cast iron grates look sharp. I like that there are five burners, each at a different BTU. Also, the oven has 3 racks, one having an area that can be removed for large pots, while still having half of the rack available. I've not had a convection oven before so that' a bonus for me. I haven't used the warming drawer or the griddle yet but will when cooking for a crowd. Overall the quality of this unit is outstanding.

cooling fan runs during entire bake cycle

i am extremely disappointed in this oven - the cooling vent runs during the entire bake cycle.
if constant background noise bothers you, don't buy this appliance.

beauty is only skin deep

Purchased this stove in Nov 2014 and I am very disappointed. We saved for a long time to purchase this "Beauty". However, the floor rusted in one year and the SS is such poor quality that it looks terrible. I am embarrassed to have anyone look at it. I take exceptional care of my things and no matter what I do it cannot shine again like SS should. I just tested the heat degree and it is off by 50 degrees. Was told by service person do not use the clean option it will bake the electronics board. Now I am scared to use it.
Pros: pretty to look at
Cons: Did not meet expectations, Poor quality
