This is the best range I have ever had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the range for a while now and I have found that it is truly user friendly. If you can not figure something out all you have to do is look in the manual, it is there.

Not a bad stove!

We've had this stove for 3 months, to replace an older GE model that the ceramic top cracked when heating a water kettle. We generally like the new model, with some annoyances. Quality of almost all ranges has decreased greatly, with much thinner metal, but this is best in its price range. We can't use our favorite cast iron or other pans or do the type of canning as we could on stoves from 20 years ago, so we have to use a separate gas camp stove and a hot plate for some uses. Also, as careful as we have been, only using the ceramic cleaner and appropriate pads, we already have some scratching and hazing on the surface. Panel information is also hard to see, and the buttons activate as you wipe off the panel. But this model is probably the best available for the price. The convection oven works great!

Have had this only less than a month and already love it! I am an avid baker and love the option of switching from convection to regular just with the hit of a button! LOVE the fact that there is no exposed coil at the bottom of the oven! I have had only GE ovens for 43 years and I will never buy anything else!!

I purchased the stove last month and have been happy with it. The only issue that i have is that it takes a little longer than it should for the oven to preheat and 3 of the 4 burners dont get quite hot enough, so it takes a little longer than it should to boil things.

Great Stove!!

I have had my stove for only a few days now but I love it! Foods get cooked evenly in the oven and I have found that a lot of foods get cook/baked faster in this oven. I was a little depressed to find out that i had a warming drawer and not a storage drawer, but since the first night I turned the stove on i have found myself using the warming drawer a lot more than I thought (A great feature!). I haven't gotten to used all of the features on the cook top but I hope to soon! The only issue that I have found with this stove is it seems to take awhile for the oven to preheat.

BOUGHT THE UNIT TWO MONTHS AGO. HAVE HAD ONLY ONE PROBLEM, THAT IS THAT THE OVEN SEEMS TO DROP TOO MUCH IN TEMP BEFORE THE HEATING ELEMENTS TURN ON. OVERALL A VERY GOOD PURCHASE

I've had a series of problems with the GE Profile range- #1 to make it eco friendly they moved the element to the bottom. The previous convection profile had a second element in the fan area. This one takes forever to reach temp. Also when it's on convection it 'interprets' what temp you want; so DO NOT adjust your temp for convection; this monster will do it for you. #2 The dial numbers rub off. We've been losing the screen printing for the last 4yrs. It's mostly gone now. Making setting your burners more of a guess than a fact. Again previous GE Profile had a thick plastic screen over the back dial faces. Making it impossible to rub off the numbers.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
