Great features, but difficult to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I searched a long time for a range. I like many things about this range, however, the cook top that I use everyday is easily scratched and difficult to clean. I'm disappointed in the scratches and I'm not hard or rough on appliances generally.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a GE convection smooth top that was 20 yrs., loved it. Now have the GE Profile convection smooth top, love all the new features, especially the center rack. Also like the fact that you can convection on just the center rack when you do not need all three. Especially for cookies the convection is great. Can bake several dozens cookies in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend this stove.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The warming drawer and the warming zone are great features ( I have a large family). these features are great for holiday entertaining. The steam clean feature is great if you don't want to do a full cleaning cycle. The bridge feature is great for griddle cooking and making gravy in a roasting pan. The built in probe with automatic oven shut off works great. The convection features work really well, baking and roasting are so evenly done. My old GE profile range was good, but this one is wonderful!

Great Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking range with numerous features. The rolling oven rack is very convenient. Flat top is easy to clean, heats fast, and when range is not in use, top make great place for hot dishes from microwave above. I even love the heavy duty burner knobs.

Not so great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove based on my experience with another GE Profile stove (gas) in our second home. We LOVE the gas stove, which is the equivalent of this. However, this is not nearly as good a stove as our gas stove. We have already, in a just a few months, had a problem with regulating the oven temp. The service person told us that these stoves had had a lot of problems and because they are "green" they don't heat very fast. This is true. To get anything close to a true temp, you need to preheat the over for about a half hour. I would NOT recommend this stove. It is a major disappointment.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have just received this stove as a Mother's Day gift from my Husband and children. So far I am very pleased with the performance. My old stove was also a GE from back in the 50's or 60's. I'm not sure... It was old and reliable, so I felt safe buying another GE product. My new stove makes cooking an ease and very enjoyable! Now all I need is a new GE fridge to go with it:). The only downside is the price, it's hard for a large family to save up the money for new appliances. Thank you, your faithful customer

Warming drawer not working

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wonderful to use. The look in our kitchen is like night and day. We get nothing but compliments from all our guest. The only con is the oven door can only be locked in clean mode. Would be nice to be able to lock it when needed.
