Definately get the Service Contract

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this dishwasher in May. The first one lasted about 20 minutes. In the unpacking process, the delivery guys showed how it was defective and took it away. We're now on the 2nd one which is scheduled for service next week. It seems to have some sort of logic problem in that it bakes the food, like lettuce, onto the plates and silverware before it tries to wash it away. Right now, we have to hand wash all of the dishes before using the dishwasher which is rather embarrasing. Glasses come out spotless. The rest of my appliances are GE so its probably just a fluke. I'll update this after the fix.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher is extremely quiet. We would like to see more cleaning options, such as top rack only cleaning. It tends to leave dishwashing powder on some items, even though we use the recommended soap product.

This line of dishwashers is not worth the money.

In my many years of owning dishwashers, I've never had dishwasher racks rust and wheels fall off the racks due to the rust in such a short period of time. Had to replace the heating element on my GE Profile oven as well after a couple of years. Previously owned other brands of major appliances and never had such problems. Will never buy GE appliances again. Buyer beware!

Good dishwasher, very quiet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked this dishwasher for our new home after doing lots of research. Got a good sale price at our local warehouse store. Does the job, most of the time. Some dishes that have sat too long don't always come clean. Need to pre scrub those. Also, had a very mysterious noise (sounded like the muskrats in the old song "Muskrat Love") after running for 10 minutes. Called support and they sent someone out. Of course, it wouldn't make the noise for him, even after running it three times! Oh well, it only made it one more time for me and has been fine ever since.
As for what the other customer wrote about having to run the hot water at the sink before using the machine - all dishwashers are like that. There is cold water in the line just sitting there waiting to fill up the dishwasher. I too used to use the delay feature to wash my dishes at night, that is until a repairman told me about 10 years ago not to do that. Useless feature.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect dishwasher for my needs

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is the quietest dishwasher I've had, and I've had many; I am happy not to have to deal with many settings and that the controls are hidden. It is slick and attractive, and does a great job of cleaning my dishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've really enjoyed the dishwasher, had it since Feb 2012. It's very quite. Only problem is that it doesn't totally dry plactics, but this is common problem with dishwashers.
