Good Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are generally pleased with this dishwasher. We had a few issues initially. We discovered that since it is so efficient and uses much less water than our old dishwasher, it's vital that you make sure the water is hot before you run the dishwasher. If we don't run the water in our sink first until it's hot, then the dishes will not be clean. This makes it impossible for us to use the timed start feature, which is unfortunate.
Also, I discovered that you need to make sure that the top basket it pushed all the way back before you run the machine. This ensures that the water source is connected to the top sprayer.
Once we discovered these key issues, we are happy with the results!

My dishes are always spotless.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is so quiet I have to look at the controls to see if it's running. One of the features we especially like are the slightly curved tines in the bottom rack which allows plates to be loaded facing the center from the left and right. This dishwasher also has settings with shorter run times than other brands, which saves water and power - and the dishes are just as clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally! A dishwasher that can hang with a big family! I chose this model after an exhaustive search and could not be happier. With 5 kids, our dishwasher runs constantly and we have had no problems with this one doing the job. It cleans a full load every time with energy savings for Mom and Dad! And the hidden controls are a MUST HAVE for anyone with a toddler in the house. I would recommend this product without hesitation.

Perfect dishwasher for my needs

After 15 good years with my old dishwasher, I wasn't sure I'd find a replacement that would fit my needs but this GE Profile is just right. I can load so many dishes in it and I love the wineglass holder. The silverware basket is versatile and holds so much, unlike others I looked at. I like the hidden controls, you can't accidentally press the buttons as with some other models. So far, the cleaning has been great. My only complaint is that the "heated dry" setting doesn't completely dry the dishes but the "added heat" setting does the job.

Quiet! Clean and lightweight interior.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very quiet machine! Originally I owned the whirlpool quietest unit, this is actually more quiet with out professing it! The interior is shiny which makes it appear more clean = me being happy. Also, the drawers are very lightweight so be careful when you pull them out, they will fly across the room. The controls are easy to understand, helpful for kids doing dishes. The handle extends out just a little to far, but I like having the design of the handle for drying dish towel.
