Awesome Monitor!

Very nice modern design, with a clear, bright screen. The thinness of this monitor is crazy and it generates practically no heat. The only thing that could be improved with this monitor is a height adjustment, but I would recommend this product to anyone.

I needed to pick up another flat-screen monitor for the office so this deal popped into my inbox. I took a close look at it and pulled the trigger. Wow! the change from 19" to 23" diagonal is breath-taking. NowI can have email open and still be using a large browsing window on the same desktop. This is almost like having two monitors. The 1080P resolution is crisp and easily readable.
Great price, prompt HP shipping and the usual easy setup make this a winner for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful Display

Unlike many monitors, this has a very sturdy base. It will take an effort to cause it to topple over.
After installing the driver from the included CD, there are many customizable settings. People who do photo editing will appreciate the settings that use Kelvin temperatures to aid in matching daylight and other color levels.
I did experience a problem on the second day of use, however. It did not receive a signal from the graphics adapter and went completely blank after scanning for one. Fortunately I was able to go online to the HP Support site using another computer and search for a solution. Apparently I'm not the only person to experience this. The solution that worked for me was to unplug the power cord, wait several seconds, and then plug it in again. Since that's an awkward process for my setup, I now let the monitor go to sleep rather than turn off the power. I'd rather not waste the electricity, but it keeps me from having to do a lot of reaching, bending and pulling. (Maybe it won't happen again - I haven't tried yet.)

Really Nice display

The HPx2301 is a very clear display. I had no problems installing or using the monitor. I think this is a great improvement over my previous Samsung monitor. I like the big screen. Nice unit!

I have used the monitor for three weeks and I am absolutely delighted in the performance. Color, speed, ability to adjust are better than expected. The scrren holds reflected light a bit but the clarity is so sharp it is worth closing the blinds during high sun daylight.

Product was exactly what i wanted. Great picture aamd i love the glossy screen. it makes my pictures abd everything else look so much more crisp. it has a hdmi input which is great(even though ny hp desktop doesnt have one) .

I am totally satisfied with this monitor so far. Resolution, colors, response are all superb. It is an excellent marriage to a high performance computer. Initially you might encounter some some glare from background light sources. However, I found by tweeking both the monitor brightness setting and background light sources in my particular enviroment I was able to obtain an absolute ideal viewing expirience. Totally satisfied.
