My new HP x2301 worked great, right out of the box. The picture quality is excellent, and I'm very happy with this purchase. (Also, the delivery was quick and right on schedule.)

I have been really happy with this monitor is produces alot of colors and it is just the right size. it is fast and excellent for gaming. I would recommend this monitor of most of the others. I read reviews when going to purchase this monitor and they said that the glossy glass like screen was bad in bright places they are wrong this monitor works great in any place. I am very happy with this monitor and would buy it again.

Excellent sharpness, color and contrast. However had to return due to shiney mirror like screen, not good for bright rooms/areas. Returned to a non glare panel. Otherwise excellent.

This monitor came out of the box, was placed on the desk and simply worked. Vivid color and rich-looking....amazing! Performs perfectly in BF3 and any other game I throw at it. I would recommend this monitor to any and all, regardless of applications used. I feel I made an excellent choice in choosing HP over any other vendor, simply because of the history I have with their quality of products offered and competitive pricing. Want your "bang-for-the-buck" ? This is the place!!!

The HP x2301 monitor has functioned perfectly. I've hooked it up to my laptop via HDMI (an HDMI cable did not come with the monitor, but I knew this at the time of purchase). The monitor does not have built in speakers (which I also knew at the time of purchase), and sound continues to come out of my laptop speakers (this happened automatically and did not require any adjustment on my part) which is just fine. There are no dead pixels or defects that I can detect. It's very slim and attractive and has a minimal "footprint." I do not do graphics work other than touch up photos, nor do I play video games. Having said that, the monitor is bright and properly portrays images and websites. The height (non adjustable) is just right for me and the limited tilt adjustment works very well. In sum, the monitor worked out of the box without requiring any adjustments on my part. Delivery was very quick. This monitor is a great value and I'm totally satisfied with my purchase.

Over the years I have had several monitors, this one is by far the best. It is light weight, easy to set up, right size and the pictures are so wonderfully clear.

I was looking for a greater than 20 inch screen for home use. Has a very good finish and had no issues connecting to my laptop. Very light and very thin. Very good color and screen clarity.
