I love my new HP monitor. I purchased this screen to connect to my laptop, through HDMI, which has only a , small, 13 inch screen. This monitor is fantastic. I am a very picky person so I have been searching for a while to find the perfect monitor. I have only had it for a few weeks, but so far I am in love with it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great thin LED Monitor for the price!

I needed a second monitor for my home office. I wanted an 21" - 23" LED screen that did not occupy too much surface area on my desk. This was the perfect solution. Very crisp display, thin, and a quite small base.

The monitor arrived sooner thatn expected and was easy to set up. I pleased with the monitor so far. The extra size is great. The resolution is outstanding - well above my expectations. I highly recommend purchasing this monitor.

I have been using this monitor for two months now. I have nothing but good things to say about it. Sharp colors, great response time, gorgeous picture. There are also a lot of options available for tweaking but I haven't needed to use any yet. I guess it may not be quite as adjustable as some monitors but that hasn't been a problem for me. I am thinking of getting a second one, would anyone like my old Samsung monitor ;) I highly recommend this great monitor.

Problems with HDMI

This monitor had a great picture and I really liked the physical layout of the screen and ports on the base. I had problems from day 1 with the monitor when using the HDMI connection. Every time my laptop would enter sleep mode, the monitor would also. When I'd go to wake the laptop up, the monitor would stay in sleep mode until I pulled the power cord from the monitor base and waited a second, then plugged it back in. HP Support recommended replacing the monitor, so I returned it within the first 21 days. I've got an HP 2311 on order now.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased this monitor a few weeks ago for use with a recently purchased HP Pavilion HPE Desktop and to replace an old failing 20" Viewsonic. The monitor works as advertised, has a cool support base and was effortless to set up and use. The lower base actually positions the screen better for easy viewing. The 23 inch screen is the perfect size for desktop work. Larger might actually be too large. The overall design and look&feel is great. Although the screen is very shiny when the power's off, there is no viewing problem at all when the monitor is in use. I believe the shiny screen contributes to the monitor's impressive "clarity". This monitor uses minimal power and is a good value. I'm completely satisfied with this product as it's better than I expected it to be.
