We have had this fridge for about 3 months now and have never had a problem with it. There were a number of features that weren't outlined on the website or by our sales associate that we have really enjoyed like the auto fill option that lets you set the desired amount of water and then the fridge lets you know when your desired amount has been reached. The only complain is that the freezer seems like it should come with one more shelf and the water from the dispenser isn't as cold as we would like. Small price to pay for such a great fridge though!

My KitchenAid refridgerator is great. It is the 3rd kitchenAid. My other ones were also great increased the value of our homes when leaving them for new buyers.
My side by side counter depth Pro Line series is wonderful. I love the LED lighting, the storage space holds as much as my old regular depth model. The in door shelves are easy to remove for cleaning to to hold condiments on the table. The freezer has plenty of room to hold and organize our frozen foods. I couldn't be happier with my new KitchenAid Pro Line.

Showstopper: warm water, feeble drawers

I picked this fridge for looks and being counter depth. The Kitchenaid product line as a whole did not match up with the competition on looks with the Samsungs an alike - LED lighting is a must these days, just as dual eval even on the midrange. So it left me with only this particular model and nothing else to choose, as my wife wanted Kitchenaid, I wanted counter depth and modern lighting and dual evaporator. Since then I hear "I hate this fridge" from my better half as the bottom drawer is not sliding freely for no apparent reason. The first 6 oz of the water comes out room temperature, I need to walk back to the sink to dump it and fill again, reminding me how great mistake I made when I purchased this fridge and now I'm stuck with it for the next 10 years.
Cons: water dispenser starts warm, weak and cheap plastics
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I highly recommend this this refrigerator because it is counter depth, the features on it are awesome & I have so much more space verses my Kenmore Elite it was always breaking down. I love the moving shelves it gives me the flexibility to put what i want where I want. I also love the shelves on the door of which also gives me ability to put a gallon of milk on the door freeing up space in the main area of the fridge.

It does not have enough shelf space to counteract the lack of depth due to it being a counter depth fridge. Unable to move the shelf in fridge, so not much else can be done....would love to talk to a designed to see what they were thinking!
