I really like this fridge it is beautiful with the stainless steel look. The controls are streaamlines and flush and looks great. The only thing i dont like is one side of the fridge shows and is paiinted grey not stainless I didnt realize this so I will probably build a wall on the one side. I use Holloway house cleaner on it which is oil based and works great.
Pros: Design, easy to use, Convenient Features, Innovative, Performance
Cons: have to have a water line installed

Refrigerator was delivered with a dent in the right front door/ stainless steel. A new door was ordered and delivered to home with poor packaging and door was crushed. Dealer installed another door (door #3) but door was bent and will not close. I am still waiting for this to be resolved 2 1/2 months after purchasing the refrigerator. Serviceman coming next week to fix it hopefully. I really like the refrigerator but am displeased with the door!!! I am about to tell dealer to send me a whole new refrigertator.....door must close to be effective!!!

The shelves in the refrigerator are NOT adjustable. Some are so limited to
height, I can hardly find anything to store on them besides a carton of eggs.
Glass shelves in freezer make it difficult to keep plastic packages on them as
plastic gets slippery when frozen and it is hard to keep them on the shelves.
Would prefer wire baskets instead of two drawers at the bottom of the freezer.
All the drawers in both the refrigerator and freezer don't open far enough to
put items in them. For example, the vegetable drawer doesn't open wide enough
to get a head of lettuce in it without crunching the head of lettuce to fit the opening.
Same problem exists with the drawers in the freezer.

I like the fact that I can get cold water and ice from the door. I don't like the on-off switch for the ice maker, however. You have to remove the entire ice box in order to turn the switch on or off. Also, when getting ice out of the door, it tends to go all over the floor. I also like the different compartments in the refrigerator.
Pros: easy to use, Drawers slide easily
Cons: crushed ice goes on the floor

On the whole I'm happy with my Kitchen Aide side-by-side refrigerator. It's roomy and I especially like the separate dispensers for ice and one for chilled water. I am not happy with the finish on the doors. I had to order black to match my other appliances. My previous refrigerator had wooden panels, which worked great. Unfortunately this side-by-side refrigerator could not be ordered for wooden panels, and so I had to order black. The surface is very shiny and shows lots of finger prints. Either I or my husband used something to clean off the finger prints (probably paper towels.) Whatever we used left slight scratch marks. We have tried to buff these out with a soft cloth with little success. I really think the surface of the doors need to be improved. Also helpful would be to put a cleaning warning right on the front of the refrig. Not many people want to read the manual about how to clean their refrigerator.
Pros: great dual water/ice dispensers, Roomy, Design
Cons: door surface shows fingerprints easily, doors take special cleaning procedures

Nice exterior sleek design, however, icemaker and water dispenser are noisier than other refrigerators we have had in the past. Also interior door shelves can be too easily unhindged and fall out if not PERFECTLY placed.
