[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great refrigerator. The best I've had and it's my second Kitchen Aid.. Very sleek and easy to use. I enjoy it every time I open the door or even just looking at it. The only feature I'm not happy with is the ice maker. It makes the ice freeze together and then when you use the ice dispenser, it ends up with ice falling on the floor and coming out as ground up instead of full cubes. But it's still worth the money!
Pros: easy to use, Performance, Design, Innovative, Convenient Features
Cons: Ice maker

We love the reliability of KitchenAid but a little disappointed in the ice maker located on the inside front door. (you can obviously hear the ice anytime it drops into the container located on the inside door...It's loud!) It's was much more quiet with our prior frig. Other than that, we love the appliance.

Fails to match performance of 12+ year old refrigerator it's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kitchen Aid has delivered a highly touted product that in my opinion is an insult to the consuming public. The next day following installation, the ice maker failed to produce ice. And during the short time it was working, anemic pieces of ice dropping onto the plastic compartment sounded like our kitchen was under attack.
There is condensation on the freezer door exterior and refrigeration machinery is replete with obnoxious loudness. Electronic ice and water dispensing control displays on the freezer door are unnecessarily complex. Whenever ice is delivered (assuming the maker is still functional) most ends up on the floor.
Interior shelving has zero placement options to adjust space between shelves. Door bins are very narrow with very limited capacity. No provisions for egg storage.
I can appreciate why my initial review thoughts were rejected because of their derogatory nature, but it is extremely difficult to find nice things to say about an inferior product that should not be on the market.
Pros: None
Cons: ice maker does not work, no provision for holding eggs, Noisy, exterior condensation, Poor reliability

Good Fridge - Bad ice and water dispenser

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The fridge works well. The shelves hold plenty and the arrangements are infinite. However the ice dispenser manufactures cubes that are linked together. The ice maker is sealed so if it ever jams, there is no way to unjam it. As for the water, the first 4 to 6 oz of water from the dispenser come out room temperature. After that the water is cold. The price\performance of the unit just makes it an OK buy not a great buy.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

drawers broken 3 times in 22 months

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were very happy with this fridge overall but the drawers keep breaking.The top of the front of of the drawers are held by flimsy plastic tabs which break easily and cant be fixed-so we have duct taped 3 drawers!
Until this happened we really liked the fridge.
We will need a new fridge when we move soon-would buy this again if not for this problem-any solutions from kitchenaid?
