Don't waste your Money

Worst refrigerator ever. It weighs a million pounds, impossible to move out to clean. For how expensive this frig was , the ice maker is horrible. Small and it spits ice out all over the place. When people come over and go to get ice, they jump back and say something is wrong with the ice maker. I have hated this from day 1, all the service guys said kitchen aid is the best. Well guess what its needs repair because its not working right. Don't waste your hard earned money.

Do not Buy!!!!!!!

01/11/15 I bought this KitchenAid Fridge.
It was not installed until 04/01/15 in my new kitchen. 4 times the icemaker has broken in 6 months. Also the fridge door would not close, seal and was not flush with freezer door. The repairmen, meaning 4 different men have come to my house to repair. KitchenAid will not replace the fridge. I have called the place where I bought it and nothing is being done. Now, the last repair man that came yesterday made the doors flush but he had to drill extra holes in the bracket above and the screws show. For such an expensive refrigerator the quality is lacking and KitchenAid only is making it worse by not holding up to a high standard.

Worst quality fridge

I have had the expensive but poorly made fridge only 3 years. I have already had to have it repaired twice and replace a drawer in the fridge three times. Bad quality product. I will never, ever buy a Kitchenaid appliance again.

In August I went to Seattle for two weeks and when I RETURNED I OPENED THE FRIDGE DOOR AND WAS MET WITH A HORRIBLE SMELL. called SERVICE, APPARENTLY THE DAY BEFORE I RETURNED THE ELECTRIC ON THE STREET WAS OFF DUE TO SOME REPAIRS. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT I HAD TO TURN THE FRIDGE BACK ON WHEN THE ELECTRIC WENT OFF. I LOST A REFRIGERATOR AND FREEZER FULL OF FOOD. whose BRIGHT IDEA WAS THIS TO NEED TO TURN THE FRIDGE BACK ON. I have had to order a new freezer door, the panel on the front never works correctly and sometimes it says the door is open, even when it's closed so you can't use the water till it goes off. but over all it's a good refrigerator

The shelves are very nice with lots of space in both the refrigerator and freezer for our needs. It's perfect for us. We've already seen a decrease in our energy bill.
