[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator to replace a 25 year old Whirlpool side by side which was a wonderful refrigerator and is still working. I thought 25 years was pushing it to not replace it soon. I researched for over two years trying to find a side by side refrigerator with all the features I was used to. I bought the KitchenAid since it is now part of the Whirlpool family and I was told it was of higher quality than the Whirlpool. I like the size of the refrigerator and especially the amount of room in the freezer since the ice maker is on the door. The many lights inside the refrigerator are a plus and makes it easy to find items. The downside is that the ice maker makes about 1/3 the amount of ice that my Whirlpool makes. And as the other reviews that I read pointed out, the ice maker dispenser is so noisy that I am unable to hear the television in the next room when using it I thought maybe, it was an exaggeration but no, it is true, really, really loud!! You also are unable to open the refrigerator door while using the ice or water dispenser. The refrigerator is attractive but the finish scratches very easily. I have the black finish. I am somewhat disappointed with this purchase because of the information I shared. It does have it's positives. Time will tell if this refrigerator lives up to the Kitchen Aid reputation.

The preserva food care system is excellent - keeps veggies fresh for over a week. The lighting and the stainless trim on the drawers and shelves is very attractive. The only small issue is the water isn't cold out of the dispenser but that's not a big deal. Highly recommend this fridge!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our 7 year old refrigerator could not be fixed (not a kitchenaid) so we needed a refrigerator quick. The repairman told us Kitchenaid was the best. We found just what we wanted, and we absolutely love it. It has so much more room, with the icemaker being in the door. I love the LED lights, the drawers you can see through, the pull out shelves. It does not dispense ice very fast. That is the only drawback.
