[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The galley kitchen in our recently moved-in home badly needed a counter-depth fridge, but we wanted the serviceability of a standard unit. This KitchenAid Architect refrigerator makes the most of the counter-depth space requirements, offers good features, excellent and tasteful styling with an icemaker unit that appears to be more rugged and reliable than many on the market. A successful execution of a feature-rich refrigerator in a counter-depth form factor.
Pros: easy to use, Performance, Design, Convenient Features, Innovative

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Bought this refrigerator Oct, 2013; already have had 2 service calls on the ice maker/water unit; replaced the filter unit and trim kit on the bottom, but repairman said trim kit on bottom will need to be replaced in the future as he didn't think it would hold. The ice maker never made ice from the first week; than the water stopped working; repairman suggested turning off the unit to give the internal wiring and parts time to warm up because he thought they were frozen because the temperature was too cold. A third service appt is scheduled for next week with a different technician; I'll update. Sorry I didn't read the reviews first, I only relied on KitchenAid's past reputation and prior experience--everything changes.
