Poor Shaving

This was given as a Christmas gift and it does not stand up to what is says. You cannot get a close shave. I've used this often since receiving it and I always have some stubble left as it does not get close enough. Will be sending back

So much better than my old Norelco ... no burn, no pain, clean shaven, light easy to use. Glad I bought it!

XR 1330

I rec'd this XR 1330 a few weeks ago as a gift. It was light and very quiet however I had to repeatedly go over my beard and still, I did not get a close smooth shave. My face appeared clean shaven it's just that when you ran your hand over your beard it was not smooth and the whiskers grew back fast. It did work well on my neck and chin lines just not a smooth shave. I called in and explained the situation and I am now getting a upgrade to your XR 1350. It is being sent to me and I hope this fairs better.

A couple issues with the XR-1330

I purchased this product in December 2013. The shave is fine, but it is difficult to remove the head to empty. Once you remove it, the cutters can easily fall out (into the trash - kind of gross). If you aren't careful (I wasn't), you might lose a cutter. There are no replacements available for sale in the USA. Very frustrating.
Also, the red light that is supposed to warn you that the battery is low doesn't work either. This was one of the reasons I purchased this razor.
I recommend choosing a different razor since you have to be REALLY CAREFUL emptying it.

buzzer popped off

The buzzer for long hair popped off after just 7 months and now I want to move on to a different product b/c beard trimming and shaving "scruff" is crucial to me. Very disappointed, not a durable product.

This thing is an abomination and a piece of Junk. Shaves always leave stubble -- with or without shave gel. IF the shave head is handled in the least roughly, it falls apart in your hands. I will NEVER buy a Remmington shaver again!

Wonderfully fabulous razor wet or dry with a real clean close shave !!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love the HYPER SERIES XR1330 pivot head for use either wet or dry for a perfectly smooth once over close shave and it even has a small flip out trimmer for those difficult spots to keep in perfect trim !

Great shaver

Can't believe the bad reviews. I've had two of these (in different locations) for ten years and they've been fantastic. I do need new blades, hence I'm looking around now. Both have always charged well.... have always held charge for a couple of weeks at least, at a time, so no complaints, even after several years.
