Bought the XR1330 about a year ago. I still have not figured out how to get a smooth shave from this razor. Skin prep, shaver motion / pressure, time spent - most of the whiskers are still sticking unsatisfactory. To add to the annoyance, the beard trimmer fell off the other day. I really am not hard on my stuff (I still have a fully operational 20 year old razor that I am now using again). The tiny "hinges" the trimmer onto the body are broken, it cannot be reattached. And I cannot find replacement parts. Frankly, this razor did not meet any of the criteria I would use for "acceptably usable".

Would not turn on after initial 24 hour charge

My wife purchased this shaver for me and after charging for 24 hour as required it would not turn on. It is going back to the store for a replacement. I hope it is just a bad unit, but will find out if a second one has the same issues.

Bad product

I bought this 2 weeks ago becuase my other one is wirred and i wanted one to carry with me at any time. I tryed 3 times to shave with it so far and all 3 times i had to use my first one to complete my shaving. no mater how long time i tryed to shave some areas its just not doing the job. Why risk it when there are so many other choices?

Broken out of box

I placed the shaver in the charger for 24+ hours and it did not turn on. I did everything I could to tinker and nothing worked. I saw another review saying the same thing. Either I am unlucky or the shaver is unreliable.

Got this for Christmas present put it in charger couple days after Christmas let charge for 24 hrs like instructions said went to turn it on Nothing its like it did not charge. Took back to where bought got another one. Brought home put on charger. and again Nothing wont turn on and again like it did not charge. Taking back to store today 30 Dec. Probable won't get another.

Purchased mine May 29. Have charged it repeatedly, read manuals - never been able to get it to turn on. Very disappointed
