I finally bought a smart phone.The only thing was my son and daughter told me i had to get a Otter case,so i ordered one because it seem like they only carried i phone , and galaxy cases. No choices at store but that another story. Received my otter and i was impressed with the packaging alone, put my android mini in the case and wow what a tight fit. i can honestly tell you i must have dropped it more than a dozen times,no problem . im a plumber and i get into some dirty situations . Then my clip caught and snapped off , so i went three weeks without it hanging off my belt. My daughter told me it was under warranty ,went to site followed the instructions and 4 days later i had a new clip, they sent me another otter case..... the customer service department is top notch . I will only buy Otter ,as a matter of fact i'm getting one for my wife's samsung mega ,she really needs protection

Good quality case. Screen protector allows dirt between the screens so have to remove to clean. Adds weight to the phone but payback is the protection it provides. Locks in to belt clip very secure. Belt clip is the only quality issue, it can break at the swivel point if you happen to catch it on something.
Pros: Durable

The first thing I noticed was that the screen protector does not sit flush to the phone. I have had two of the same cases just to make sure it was not a one time defect but it was same on both. dust and trash would get in behind the screen. the next thing is if I bounce or jump or move swiftly the phone will come out of the case very easily and fall to the ground. I have had other otterboxes and this was never a problem before but with the new design of this case the phone is just not secure in its holster. The last thing is that there are not really any options as far as color is concerned. you basically have gray black or purple. I see all different colors in the commuter series but in the defender series there were not good options.

The Otter Box phone protector makes it easy to grasp the phone with wet fingers because the texture is smooth, but not slippery. It fits snugly around the cell phone and is made specifically to fit each type of cell phone.
I can hold the phone between my thumb and index finger, shake my hand up and down and the phone will not slip out of my fingers.
No more dropping the phone in the porcelain "doggy water bowl"!
It also gives the phone enough substance so it feels comfortable to someone with large hands.
The belt clip holds the phone secure and has 12 positions which makes it easily accessible for right-handed as well as left-handed users.
Even with the tight grip and security of the belt clip, the phone is easy to remove with just a couple of fingers. Just a quick pull and the phone unclips and is sitting in your hand ready to use.

This is the second Otter Box that I have purchased (same model) and I am quite irritated. The screen protector is bubbled, so when I text, it either doesn't hit the button I want, or it triple hits it because....well I don't know the reason, but it is because of the screen protector for sure.
My husband has the Motorola Max, and his box is FAR superior than mine. I find myself using his phone much more frequently than my own. :(
