I bought 3 Alen air cleaner years ago so I have the one with Ultraviolet light. I love them and I use them daily esp these days. They are still ok and recently I bought replacement filters. I stock them- you can use them longer than recommended depending on how dirty the filter gets. We recently had renovation work so I had to change all the filters in my 3 air cleaners. THey have 3 speed so if you think they are too noisy, you can use one speed like my husband and run it longer. IT has a timer. I recommend this product

It was so wonderful to put in my new filters and toss out the old ones which I'd had and used for off and on for 2 years (I vacuumed them regularly). I could feel the difference and the air felt and smelled fresh. I slept well that night with the Alen filters in place.
