Not the good design I’ve had for years

The lights don’t come on to tell me when the filter is getting dirty. The filter life is short and needs to be changed frequently with no warning when. It just shuts off. If I didn’t have the other 2 of the older model, I wouldn’t consider an Allen air purifier.

breathing easy

We have been buying filters from Alen for at least 5 years. We are extremely pleased. There is a high efficiency filter on our furnace/ AC system but we have some light woodland bordering our property and felt what with our allergies some additional protection might be warranted. We were shocked to see how much dust, etc. was collected on the filters when it was time change them. During flu season we switch to the "silver" filters. I can say In all this time neither my wife, son nor I have suffered a bout of flu. Is it the filters or good living I'm not sure but we are not taking chances.

filters are fine, but

These filters are fine. 5 stars. They do the job.
However, ordering them was a huge, huge problem. 3 stars knocked off for that.
The filters came about 3 weeks after I thought I first ordered them with another set of filters that DID arrive.

I had to first contact customer service by chat looking for my order, on which they asked me for an order number. I told them it was an autoship so not sure, then they never got back to me.
Then I had to call in to order, and I asked for a supervisor, who (of course) wasn't available - could she call me back? Yes - I wanted to complain about not only not receiving the order but the chat ppl bailing on helping.
It has been another month - got my filters, but still waiting for that call back from the supervisor.
