The Case is Ok. It really is a good case. I like the fact that it comes with a warranty. If it was not for that it would not be worth the money you have to pay for it. I have broke mine twice and they have replace it. Its not real durable but the case is a good one. Always make sure your case has the warranty because its two much money to throw away with out.

We love our otter boxes on all of our phones we only will buy them. Bought other kinds claiming to be better and when there cases failed you had to write a life history to get it replaced which they never did replace it.

Otterbox continues to produce a durable high quality product. I've been using these cases on my phones for the last several years. I will not consider a new phone, until there is an Otterbox available for them.
In the past I've had a phone fall off of a 2 story roof. Luckily it was in an Otterbox, the phone was absolutely fine.
Do yourself a favor, do not even consider another case if you are serious about protecting your phone.

Otterbox has a great products, I use the Defender series cases on both my phones. My phones are very well protected. Plus Otterbox is a company that stands behind their products. Will continue to use them, only wished they would make car mounts for their cases as well.

The Defender case for Motorola Maxx is great for protection; however, the rubber outer case tends to stretch out over time. Once the case has stretched out it doesn't offer good protection. I'm on my 5th case in 1 1/2 years. Otterbox has kindly replaced my case for free each time I've needed a new one, but I think it's sad that the cases don't seem to last, especially considering the price you pay for one. I would gladly rate this case 5 stars if it weren't for the poor design on the rubber outer portion. *(See the image below.) The middle image of the rubber case, at the top, is where each of my cases have stretched out, always in the same place.

The defender case is great. It stands up well to everyday use and abuse. I have had my phone fall from several feet with no damage resulting from the incident. While it is a little bulky it is the bulkiness itself that gives the Otterbox the ability to absorb falls.
Yes there are other cases that will show off your phones design to others but they do not offer the same protection. While they might protect the phone from cosmetic damage by design it simply cannot handle being dropped. Yes everyone will know what kind of phone you have, but you wont have the peace of mind knowing it is not only being protected on the outside but more importantly on the inside too. You would never pick out a bicycle or motorcycle helmet based upon how it made you look why do it with your phone.
