I've used Otterboxes on a couple of phones over several years. I think they protect the phones very well. I am EMS provider and use my phone a lot, sometimes I drop it or it may be knocked off my hip. The case has always protected my phones very well. The only weakness I have found is with the holster's belt attachment. If you catch the holster on something the hinge seems to break too easy. If that could be inproved it would be a real improvement.

Otter Box makes probably the best in my opinion case for any cell phone and stands behind their product 100%

This is the best phone case I have ever owned and the warranty support is excellent, when my belt clip broke I was given an entire new case with no hassle or charge.

i work in construction and this case can really stand up and above the competition . its rugged , durable and provides excellent protection . the only con is that the belt clip will break after a while(3-6 months) , but the lifetime warranty makes sure that i dont need to buy another one .

My phone would long ago been broken without this case. I have dropped it too many times to count over the past two years and when I take off the Defender Case to perform a D&C the phone looks out of the box new. I have had other cases that were OK but this Defender is outstanding and well worth the price. My wife and daughter both have OtterBox cases and I am comfortable not having damage insurance on our phones and that very quickly pays for the cases.
Pros: High quality, Durable, water resistant, oesn't affect tactile input to phone
Cons: makes a big phone even bigger:(
