bought this for my Motorola Q and installed it right away. 2 days later I dropped my phone off a 6 foot step ladder onto a hardwood floor. When I picked my phone up the phone was fine. THIS IS ONE GREAT PRODUCT FOR THE MONEY. This is my phone case for life.

I purchased this case from verizon wireless a few months back. It was still under warranty... I contacted Otterbox concerning a replacement under warranty... They were extremely helpful and replaced my case with minimum effort on my part... I can't thank Otterbox enough for their great customer service and a phenomenal product...

Very good case, but has a design flaw

The case overall is very good. However, I discovered a design flaw in the outer silicone shell. The tab where the headphone jack is, the hole is cut out on the opposite side of the tab. I couldn't put in my headphones with tab closed. I had to open the tab then insert my headphones. It is a little inconvenience, but I would rather be able to use it as it should be intended.
I had the same problem with my iphone 4s case as well. Please pay close attention to the designs of the phones. You have excellent products and I expect them to be outstanding in the future. No one else can compare. Any chance of getting a new redesigned case with proper cutouts??... Just thought I'd throw that in there, Lol. :)

The Defender offers excellent protection at a reasonable price. Installation on my Moto-X was a bit cumbersome and tedious but well worth the effort.
