I would say that I love this case, but I almost love it. It seems someone goofed! The opening for the headphones on the case is on the wrong side of the flap, therefore I can't use the headphone jack unless I keep the flap open! I called customer support and they were very nice, replaced my case after I sent in pictures, but low and behold I got the same exact case again, with the port being incorrect. I honestly haven't had time to sit on the phone again but I will soon and call and talk to someone in design.
Pros: Durable
Cons: design flaw for moto x
I would recommend this to a friend!

happy except for the corner

I am very happy with my otter box in the color lily, except for the upper left corner of the purple cover seems to be misshapen. It bows out at the corner and is a little distorted around where it pushes into the blue tap on that side. It's just not a nice fit right there and it I find my self pushing on it all the time lol... other than that I like the colors and the protection I feel it gives my phone and that is more important.. I just wish it was a nice flush fit on that one corner as it is on the other three corners lol.. maybe I just received a bad one..
I am happy with the case except for a few key areas that make it a pain to use on the daily. For one the screen protector does not sit flush on the phone so pressing buttons on the screen becomes a nightmare , especially on the sides and top of the screen. another minor annoyance is the belt clip system , it destroys the ruber case as it locks into place. I would have liked that the motorola M indent on the back of the phone be incorporated into the case, it really does feel nice there.
I had an OtterBox for my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. No, scratch that: I had about five of them, all said and done. The belt clip broke regularly, the clips to hold the case together broke, and it just wasn't a great design. That absolutely changed with the Moto X OtterBox. This case is designed well, it fits the phone very nicely, the clips are made in a different manner (there isn't a spot where the plastic is incredibly thin), the belt clip holds the phone in a different way, and I expect to have this case for a long time coming.
I love the otterbox cases and recommend them to all of my customers because they're durable, however for someone that likes a slim phone they're not so great. I like the defender case because theyre durable, I'd like Otterbox to make a case that has the slick look of the commuter, but has the durability of the defender case.
I had defender on Motorola photon 4g and the biggest problem was the silicon... But the new design on my moto x the silicone is much stiffer and hold its shape better and doesn't peel off when I put it in pocket like the older design did.the only thing is it is a little slick but it doesn't attract nearly the amount of lint and what little it does wipes off very easily. I am in counstuction and I will say all otter box's I have owned have always keep my phones looking new and protected which helped with resale value when it was time for upgrades
