Great Case Poor Holster

This isnt my first or last otterbox case, but the design of the case is very nice and solid but the holster design is junk. Ive had several other phones and otterbox cases and so far i find i like the holster design of the phone 5/5S and the design of the Samsung S4 and Note3 far better. The holster design makes it very hard to get the phone in and out with out feeling like its going to break the clip or with out dropping the phone when you do finally get it out. My second biggest complaint is the built in screen protector, you can clean it and when you try it just smudges.
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: very poor holster and screen protector

The defender case comes as it should with the heavy duty protection for the phone along with a belt holster. For the Moto X cases, there are some color schemes you can choose from which is a plus. Case snugs well with the belt holster, though the holster is not rotatable which is very inconvenient and a disappointment. (Have used defender cases for other phones).
Pros: High quality, Durable
Cons: belt holster not rotatable., the head phone port in the case is on the opposite

I've dropped my phone a dozen times in the last two weeks and the case protects it wonderfully. This is the first "clip on" case I've owned and maybe I'm part of the problem. I have found that the case slips off my belt a few times a day as I sit, turn or bend over. I'm not overweight so it's not like my belly creates any unique pressure on the phone and case. I've been disappointed with this aspect but very happy with all of the others.

Cons: phone & case falls off of my belt very easily

I had an iPhone before the Moto X, still trying to get used to it! I bought a defender series case because I had one on my iPhone and loved it, it protected the phone from frequent drops, screen getting scratched and allowing dirt to get inside (for a while, anyway, it always finds its way in!). This case is similar but it doesn't seem as sturdy as the iPhone case was, it's a little slimmer (not as bulky), which is nice, but it doesn't see like it would protect the phone from drops as well. Also, stuff gets inside ALL the time and I can't stand a dirty screen, so I'm always having to open it to clean it. But that may not be the design's fault, it has to have an extra opening near the bottom of the screen for a little hole (the microphone, I think). But it's annoying to have to open it a few times a week to clean it. With my iPhone, I had to open it to clean it maybe once a month. Every time you open it, the rubber part gets more and more stretched out and the protective plugs to fit in the same/correctly anymore.
Pros: High quality, Durable, slim design
Cons: dirt gets inside too easily, case hard to open
