Slightly disappointed

The functions of the printer are excellent for the price, however, try as I might, I cannot get it to connect to my Verizon FIOS wireless router. All of my other devices, (iPad, Blackberry, wireless controller, etc.) all run without a problem. When I go to configure the printer either through the LCD screen or the computer CD-ROM it comes back with an error T02 indicating that it cannot find the wireless router. The USB connection works perfectly. If I get this working wirelessly, then the printer would be a great value for it's price.

Before I bought this printer, I was using a printer from another company, whose name I don't want to advertise. The commercial claimed that the ink would last and last and.... I was buying replacement cartridges with the expectation that I would have ink for months, if not years in the future. The next thing I know, the machine kept asking for more ink within the week. When I was down to my last cartridge, I promised myself to change printer companies, because this was getting annoying, not to mention costly. Choosing Brother may very well have been one of the best decisions I've made in a long, long time.

Good Middle Range Printer

Prints well, clearly, and easily adjustable. Rather noisy. Like that the printer has a lid that lifts to allow bulky items to be printed. Actually used this printer to transfer my art designs to fabric. Didn't jam and made clean, clear replicas.

I love the printer! It's fast and it does so much. I was a little unnerved yesterday when it turned itself on and began cleaning. I didn't realize they did that. I thought it was cool!
