I have had trouble getting the printer to scan to the computer. My daughter finally figured out that the CD that came with the printer is too old for the new MAC I have purchased. She finally was able to download all the drives and everything, and now it works very well. I still need to print color on it because I haven't had anything that I needed to print.
I would recommend this to a friend!

RIGHT NOW I HAVE A PROBLEM, I HAVE A THUMBNAIL PIECE OF PAPER JAMMED INTO MY MACHINE . MY SON AND I SPEN TOO LONG A TIME AND CAN NOT FIND IT. wE ARE GOING TO TRY BLOWING SOME AIR INTO THE BACK AREA IN HOPES WE CAN SHAKE IT LOOSE. OUR GERMANTOWN SENIOR CENTER HAS YOUR MACHINES AND LIKES THEM VERY MUCH.

the machine is tough to learn. It is a printer, scanner and fax. I brought it back in June and I am still trying to figure out how to use the scanner, I am out of the Yellow, blue and magenta ink and Have a bran new black ink cartridge. I can not print with just the black ink.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this printer over a year ago. I have to say it is the best printer I have purchased. It is easy to set up and use. I manly use it for printing docs. The ink doesn't run out quickly if ur a casual user. I've had to replace cartridges once since I've owned it. And the black ink is about to run out again. The good thing is the ink is not expensive. For the price of this all in one printer. Its totally worth it.

This is my 2nd Brother Printer, and for the most part, I have been very happy with its performance. I do a lot of scanning, using the PaperPortSE software, and it works pretty much flawlessly-no problem pulling more than 1 sheet at a time when scanning a multi page document. I wish I could say the same for printing multiple pages. Quiet ofter it will grab several pages and print parts on each of several pages and even throw in a couple of blank sheets. I have tried to correct this by adjusting the paper tray settings, without much success. Also I get "paper jam" error messages when there is no jam. The only way I can clear the message is to unplug the printer and start over. I don't fax, so I can't comment on this feature.

Hello, Is there any technician able to help me why my printer: MFC-J435W is not printing, even trying to make a copy placing on the glass comes in blank, can anyone contact me and help me to resolve this issue?

Excessive Colored Ink Consummsion

The printer works well BUT uses far too much ink in the cleaning process. Over the years I have rarely printed a color image but the three others need replacing about the same time as the black.

Wasted a lot of time

ADF scanner put a gray background. No one at store or Brother knew what the problem was. Returned it and got a more expensive model.
