The microwave is cheaply made. I personally cant stand the noise it makes when closing the door.

We just bought our new home 11/25/04 and went to try the microwave and the fan belt was already broken. We had to call a tech and we are waiting on a bet. Not a good start.

Noisy !

Had to replace the previous GE one that seemed to be better but broke after only 4-5 years. Disappointed with this one that seems to be very noisy and does not vent very well.

Heats well, but very loud

It is by far the loudest microwave I have ever used. Whenever it's running, it's vent is loudly excreting air out the top. It gives me a startling reminder every morning as I warm up milk for my tea. The door feels uneven when opened. It pulls on whichever corner is closest to where your hand is on the handle, instead of most microwaves that are sturdy enough to open evenly, no matter where you grab the handle. I love the appearance, and that it heats well. I have yet to use all of the available features, but so far, it has not disappointed with the heating unit.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
