Cheap Superficial Plastic Parts

We've had this microwave since 2014 and the door handle has broken twice. The replacement parts are priced comparably to a new microwave. I do not recommend this product.

Nice oven top microwave

The microwave has been working great ever since. And had not been having any issues. The door though is bit flimsy and doesn't seem sturdy. You can feel it during opening and closing. Overall an ok product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poorly Built

This was included in our new house. We built in 2014. In under 5 years, handle broke off, then the whole bottom broke which led to the glass falling out. Would never buy this product again. Staying away from GE appliances as well.

Door keeps breaking

Since purchase in 2016 we have had to replace the door 4 times due to the exact same defects of the plastic breaking and glass falling out.

the top vent (black vented piece) had two black plastic tabs that break easy when removing for cleaning and the handle will break after a few years of normal use or very quickly if you have kids

Cheap Plastic Handle

Works great but the engineer who thought it was a great idea to design this microwave using cheap plastic for a handle, needs to be fired. Even though the plastic handle broke off and is aesthetically unappealing, it still works.

It's very loud when running. I can't even have a conversation while this microwave is on. And forget about talking if the vent is on.
