Worked fine until it didn't.

I'd expect to get more than 5 years out of this microwave, but didn't. In fact, our subdivision was built out with all homes completed within about a year of each other. Same model GE microwave installed in each of the 30 homes. I know of at least 3 which recently stopped working. Ours will poer up and light come on. Turn table sometimes will turn for about 2 seconds but doesn't heat at all. Neighbors report similar things with no heating.

Awful design that fails

The handle on this microwave has broken and I know several people in our neighborhood that has had the same thing happen.

this microwave came with my built house. love to use it everyday. simple and plain. the function that i liked the most the turn table (plate) can disable it.

Lacking quality....

Very flimsy. Door is not aligned correctly, in fact it is a little too big and rubs and makes noise. The filters fall out at random.

Loud but effective

Appliance is extremely loud. Serves as a vent over our range as well and is extremely loud. Cooking performance is good. It the noise on this unit is ridiculous.
