Worst purchase ever...

I'd like to tell you just how awful this prints, however as it didn't come with any drivers on the install disc for OSX (came with windows drivers only) I haven't actually got it installed yet, and can't use it. As the drivers I now need to download are huge they will blow my mobile data bill through the roof to download.
So, in short I do have a '5-Star paper-weight' which is working brilliantly (no paper has blown away yet!). I'll knock this rating down to '4-Stars paperweight' as given it's designed for indoor use, you would expect too much wind blowing my paper around anyway.
Now I have bought this printer I see it has a rating of 2.3 out of 5. So if I do manage to get some drivers downloaded and get the thing working, I will probably be completely underwhelmed and disappointed. On the bright side, if it performs anything better than poor/terrible, I shall just end up pleasantly surprised! (which would be nice...)

I purchased this Canon printer due to the price, and the good reviews. I purchased a printer from another manufacturer. It did not work so I returned it, and bought the Canon printer online. Picked it up at the store. Installed it and it has been working perfectly since.

Difficult to set up. PDF manual non existent or at least I could not find one to download and print. Noisy but does give crisp sharp prints. But for the price what can one expect?

JUNK

It never printed correctly right out the box. text was always too light. replacing the ink cartridges didn't help. After a year of light printing it just stopped printing altogether when the cartridges still had ink. Don't waste your money on this garbage

most abysmal nonfunctioning printer i've ever used

THIS PRINTER IS ABYSMAL
please save your money. easily the worst printer i have ever used, worse than a decade old lexmark
- speeds through ink, sometimes ink just disappears when its not even in use
- the WORST color quality i've ever seen, full of lines and extremely faded
- wireless doesn't work
- paper feeder is horrid , in order to print out an essay i normally have to spend an hour just printing because i have to trial and error putting paper through because it doesnt accept paper 50% of the time
the issues just keep going on with this thing. its hit or miss whether it works or not, i'd say half the time it doesnt and you need to "troubleshoot" (aka turn it off and on until it feels like working). complete headache, i only use it when i have to otherwise i use my university's library printers
i never write online reviews. this is my first. this printer is so horrid that i felt compelled to do so. its that bad.
please save your money. theres no such thing as a cheap good printer.

No. Just No.

Setting this thing up was THE biggest pain. My OS needs to be updated to be compatible with this printer, that's my fault, so I used my phone to set it up. This is supposed to be made easy with the phone app. Not only are there no actual instructions on how to connect, but if you want to actually figure out how to do it, you need to switch between about 5 different web pages and the app at the same time. And it doesn't even really tell you how to do what it wants you to do, so it's super confusing. After I spent a couple hours figuring out how to setup this thing, I was finally able to print.
But no. Not really. Every print that isn't a picture needs to go through a Data Conversion Service first. And I've been trying to print things for about an hour now, and I keep getting errors on this Data Conversion Services end even though it says it's not undergoing maintenance. There isn't even troubleshooting for it.
This thing was supposed to help me in college, but instead I feel like I need to go as far as majoring in this printer to get it to work. Not happy.
Cons: Difficult to use, Difficult Setup, unreliable
