Great Printer for the money!

I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews this printer is great! The setup was easy and I have printed some very beautiful photos. I would buy another one if this one started to fail because I am so happy with it!

Replacement for 8 year old Cannon

This is a replacement for my MP210 which finally bit the dust. If you follow the instructions carefully and use the install disk, then this printer is easy to set up. Also I use a USB cable which make it a lot easier. There is an on-screen manual available after the install to help if you have any problems. When printing pictures, I prefer using "Easy Photo Print EX" instead of the complicated and busy Cannon Quick Menu. The printer is a bit more noisy then my other printer, but other than that I am very satisfied with it.
Pros: reliable, Easy Setup, fast print speed, easy to use
Cons: noisy
I would recommend this to a friend!

It's okay for the price. You better have an USB for your printer because it comes with none. Now I'm having trouble printing pictures. Need to shove the 4x6 card for the thing to grab. I don't know. It prints shipping labels clear.

EXcellent Value, Exceptional Print Quality

Printing photos is a joy with this printer. They loook ,just like the prints I used to get from the photo lab. Well done, Canon!
Pros: Easy Setup, Sharp Tones & Colors, fast print speed

I cannot figure out how to scan pictures or documents. I don't even know if there's a manual for it which is pretty upsetting to me. I would definitely rate five stars if it weren't for this problem. Other than that, it is extremely easy to print what I want, when I want.

I found the setup to be relatively easy. The print quality was good as well. However, the printing was rather slow and the machine took a while to warm up in the morning. I could put up with this as the price was fair and the ink seemed to go far. However, out of the blue the printer started printing with broken lines as if the printhead was misaligned. All troubleshooting efforts went nowhere and less than four months after my purchase I am looking for a new printer.
Pros: Easy Setup, Low Ink Consumption
Cons: Slow Print Speed, unreliable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
