Worst office product Ive ever owned

I have an earlier version of this printer and it is the worst office product I have ever owned. Takes a long time to warm up, burns through ink, constant error messages. I have printed around 50-60 pages during the life of this printer MAX and it is no longer functioning. Even while it was functioning at its best I would rate it 2/10. Now I got a B200 error and it has ceased functioning completely.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The bad reviews have mostly come from people that found the installation difficult. I did not.
If you couldn't install through wireless mode they gave you an option at the end to use a USB wire, not provided but I had one from a previous printer.
You pretty much just plug in the wire, let the computer detect the printer, and click next a few times. After 5 mins the printer is installed and you never need the USB again.
I found the use of the printer quite easy and loved it after first scan.
Pros: Easy Setup, easy to use
Cons: Large Footprint, Heavy/Bulky
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst Printer for scanning

This printer is terrible. When you want to scan, there is no button on the printer to scan the document! Instead, you have to go to a program on your computer to scan. If you want to scan many documents at once, you have to be at your computer to click the scan button while being by the printer to change the pages. WHAT IS THE POINT OF HAVING A WIFI PRINTER WHEN YOU HAVE TO SIT NEXT TO THE PRINTER TO DO THIS?

Needed to replace my printer and was sold this one. Disappointing. It jams, and the paper out tray shoots my print outs right onto the floor whether it be one printed sheet or several. My other printer was linked to my computer so that it was turned on when I needed to print and turned itself off when it was done. This printer has only a manual function which is a deterrent. I would not recommend this printer.

Terrible printer

I've had this printer for a couple of years and don't know why I've put up with it for that long. Worst printer ever! It's slow, noisy and apparently it's not a scanner. Also, it quit allowing me to print wirelessly, so I have to use my desktop computer to print. Next printer won't be a Canon.

Good but flaws

I bought this for school back in august and i have a mac. It doesn't have a cd insert so you have to download the software. its hard to connect the printer but once it works, it works. its difficult to reconnect it as well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Product does not stay on. Have to turn on and off printer in order to get it to print. Sometimes I have to turn in on or off multiple time before it is even detected on the network. Attempted to update firmware to fix problem and will not. This product is nothing but a headache and pile of you know what. I have owned it less then a year and thinking about throwing it out and buying a different printer. What a waste of money!
