I really like this printer. So far So Good. I love the wfi on the printer and the way the paper feeds into the printer. I really don't have any complaints.

Very noisy

I haven't used my printer that much as yet, but find that it makes an unusual amount of noise. My old model handled more paper and was a lot quieter.

constant paper jam

Constant paper jam and if no paper comes out with a long crash in the middle. Wish I could fix it because I have a lot of extra ink but cant find how. I love this printer before this started happening

paper will not come out of the printer

I had this printer for a couple of years and now having issues where I am trying to print something and the roller will not feed the paper. I tried cleaning the roller (I looked at Youtube also). And I have left over ink not used. Customer service does not respond to these reviews I see. I would not recommend this product.

Good printer

The instructions are not complicated. They give a CD you put in your laptop and you follow the directions. For the initial set up, get a USB cable for printers.
It's not included but once you do the initial set up via USB cable your good to go. No more cable needed. I connected my Iphone 5s to printer via Air print.
If you choose not to the USB cable initial set up , you will be frustrated because it won't connect via wifi at first. I think that what most people are upset about. Once you connect it once via USB cable it pick up your wifi and your done, no need for the cable

Pros: awesome printer. i print from my iphone 5s

astonishing how bad a printer could be...

i'm truly amazed at the amount of time canon has stolen from my life with this printer... it requires entirely new setups to be performed about every other week or every third print job. this process takes hours, and rarely works without messing up numerous other systems along the way. not to sound immature, but i will truly never buy a canon product again, and i will advise everyone else i know, or even strangers for that matter, not to give up your limited time to canon's useless software and remarkably unimpressive printer.
