I recently purchased this a month ago after doing a lot of research on the internet for security systems. Defender Sentinel Pro seemed to be the best product for my home security needs. I would like the cameras to be of higher resolution, however, I don't think there are any cameras at a higher resolution within this price range. I will also say that the system and its directions are difficult to set up without customer service directing you. Luckily, Defenders customer service is excellent and on point. I have had to call or email several times and it has ben a pleasure to get help from them. Mitchel was exceptional at figuring out my setup issues and concerns. I highly recommend you contact them with any questions or concerns immediately. Thank you Defender, I am a pleased customer.

Customer Service excels

I recently purchased the 21159 system as an upgrade to my current system which is a 21173 that is still under warranty but is now a discontinued model. I have had two occasions to contact Customer Service and both times I was quite pleased with the outcomes. I was provided an extended warranty after the first contact and upgraded replacement cameras after my second contact as the cameras for the 21173 system were no longer available. As it turns out, the replacement cameras were identical to those in the 21159 system I had just purchased. Based on the reviews of the 21159 and comparable models I am excited for the weather to warm up a little so I can mount the new system cameras and DVR.

Bought for our retail location to help stop loss. The system installs very easy and the instructions are crystal clear. Lot's off great features as well

Purchased this system couple of weeks ago. It was fairly straight forward to set up. Did it by myself. I needed assistance to view remotely and Michel assisted me greatly. He was very patient and extremely helpful.

Bought this system to upgrade from an old 4 camera system for my store. Bought 3 camera extension cords to get the back parts of my store and back room. Full set up which included mounting 8 cameras, running and securing lines (ran lines through crawlspace), hooking everything up and adjusting camera angles took a day and was very easy. Getting it set up so I could view it from home and my phone took a few hours but it wasn't Defender's fault. I had firewall issues as well as "windows 10" issues (windows 10 operates "Edge" which is NOT Internet Explorer) and after 4 hours of trying to figure out what to do on my own, Michel from Defender tech support solved the issues with 2 quick emails and a 10 minute phone call. The system is clear and smooth for both day and night viewing and once you are set up, logging in from your laptop or phone is very quick and simple. For what you pay, I think you get fantastic value especially once you realize the quality of everything and all the features the system includes.

Very Nice System

I am a picky fellow and usually do my research when choosing expensive devices. I am happy to report that this system and Defender in general fulfilled my wishes of a great system with good support. The set up was painless and the one question I had was answered quickly and effectively by telephone support who was informative and patient. I might add the phone support was within the U.S. Image quality and ease of use is excellent. The software is intuitive and works as needed. So far I am a very happy fellow and give this product and Company two thumbs up.

Received my system as a gift. Love it. Like the views and the Clear Vu app.Easy to install. Had a little trouble connecting to iphone. Contacted customer support. Michel gave outstanding assistance and skillfully guided us through the steps to success.
