I purchased this system so we would be able to keep an eye on a second home and so far am very pleased. Installation is very easy and a quick call to customer service took care of our remote viewing.

Great Product!

This is the third defender security camera system we have purchased in the last 3 years (as we are expanding our coverage across our campus). This system is by far the best, this being because of the improved quality of the cameras. I would strongly recommend the defender security cameras to anyone as they are a solid product.

Terrible resolution quality

Have tried for the last 1.5 months to get the iphone app to work and gave up. The camera resolution as far as viewing live is fair, but the quality of the recorded feeds are pathetic. The idea of a security system is to be able to refer to the recorded feeds for reference and on the highest settings for the best resolution this unit is a failure. Even an email to Defender themselves told me that is as good as it gets. Don't waste your money on this unit you will be disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good System but Two of Eight Cameras Defective

I ordered this system two weeks ago. I received it one week ago. I am generally pleased with the system but two of the eight cameras were defective.

I bought the model 21160 ,Although I had some trouble understanding things mostly because of not being very Tech smart and age. I do have system up and running and happy so far although still learning the operation The camera's are very good for what I wanted it for. I also bought another one for a gift and also my son bought one also after seeing mine .Hopefully they will be satisfied when they install theirs.

Bought this product about three weeks ago and it has met all of my needs and expectations. It was easy to install and works as advertised. Provides great coverage both day and night. Service was also excellent. I received a defective power supply with my shipment and it was replaced three days after contacting Defender. Could not ask for any better service.
