Great Quality, Value, and Ease of Use

We entertained all the security company camera systems and found them all to be limiting and costly. After many weeks of research for a quality camera system with all the features we wanted we decided to purchase this camera system. After receiving the system we were pleasantly surprised with the craftsmanship of these cameras and the system as a whole. We then tested the cameras to determine the video quality and this is where we found the product to shine above others we compared as the video quality was highest of all the systems considered. Also we conducted a test of the night vision capabilities and this was truly a treat to see the clarity and distance we were able to view with this system. Installation of the cameras was a breeze and all eight were hanging and connected in a single weekend. The DVR was found to be feature rich and has simplicity for the non-technical as well as advanced features for the more technical. The application for mobile devices was simple to use and after tweaking the settings on the DVR the alerting was tuned in to our liking. I love the fact I can check on my house when away. Shortly after installation we received an alert from our alarm system, we simply opened the app from our cell phone and were able to check the residence from away and determine it was a false alarm, phew. Overall if you are seeking a solution with no long term cost of ownership and of quality for the value, this set of cameras would be in my top recommendations for a home security camera system, I would even recommend this for a business seeking a quality camera system.

bought my defender pro system 16 channel a month ago and am very pleased with the overall quality and value! installation was simple and straight forward. I had a little technical glitches when trying to remote view but Michel at tech support walked me through my problem and solution with professionalism and enthusiasm! thanks Michel!

I Bought This System About 5 Weeks Ago. Got It Hooked Up Three Weeks Ago. So Far It Is Working Fine--Better Than I Expected. Have Not Hooked It To The Internet Yet But I Am Sure It Will Work Fine--If Not The Reviews Say That Defender Is Very Good At Making Things Right!. The Price Was Great.

Michel did an awesome job! He got my internal and external networks set up in minimal time. Very professional and competent. The cameras were easy to setup and the quality so far (3 days) is very good. Overall, very happy with the product and customer service experience. Model 21150.

Up and Running

Good product, very easy to set up the cameras right out of the box. My one complaint is that it's not easy for non-techies to configure network settings for remote monitoring. Fortunately, the Sentinel support team is outstanding, and very quick to respond to emails. Michel guided me patiently through the IP swamp and had me up and running in record time, in spite of my lack of knowledge about networks.
Great phone support is rare these days, so I was really impressed with Michel's technical abilities and cheerful optimism. And he told me I could call back anytime if I needed help in the future!

Fantastic system

The support led me to install the Ports and he was very patient with me and Renzo. It worked out to the letter so we are very pleased with the support tech Michel.
The cameras are so clear even at night so I may want to order one more camera at a later date.

I had some issues setting the system for remote viewing so I called defender and spoke with Michel,he was very friendly and was able to walk me thru the steps on how to set up my dvr,thanks Michel,system works great and has a very good night vision.
