Large can, step open, soft close, liner-it's just a great can to have. We have 2 simplehuman cans now and will most likely purchase smaller ones in the future.

It's okay but for the money I wouldn't buy it again. The top is marked from where the label was, have to work the bags so they don't show and doesn't quite close all the way.

Strong pedal, nice features like holes in the plastic bin so the liners pull out easily, nice finish on the can itself. Fully expect this to last 10 years plus like my last one did.

This is the second Simplehuman large waste bin we purchased. It’s nice to be able to lock the lid open when guests are over or when we host large dinner parties.

Won’t have to buy another trash can ever again!

I bought this because one of my favorite personalities from America’s Test Kitchen recommended it and I was not disappointed. 30 gallon trash bags fit perfectly in it, it’s easy to clean and it looks stylish in any kitchen.
Well worth the money b/c I will never have to buy another trash can again. Great investment.

Very disappointed

I looked around for trash cans for some time and finally decided on the Simplehuman 50l can. The quality is okay, however, I am very disappointed that my 13 gal. trash bags do not fit (actually, not even close)! This claim that the can accepts standard 13 gal bags was the final selling point for me after seeing the confirming review on America's test kitchen, in which they stated that it was one of their major criteria in judging the value of the trash cans. I am not happy with the idea that I now have to spend more money on special bags to use the can, I wanted to avoid this.
