We love this trash can so much! We live in a 1br and our kitchen has a small eating area that was feeling overwhelmed by our trash/recycling setup. This can has streamlined everything and transformed the space. It is SO tidy and a pleasure to use. And it's so pretty! We tend to it like it's a sports car haha. The design is intuitive and convenient. It's expensive, but if you have the money, it's worth it.

I never knew I could love a trash / recycling can so much!

This trash and recycling can is worth the money! I love it and am very happy to have ordered it. We use the larger side for recycling and the smaller side for trash. Some sample bags were included and they fit nicely.

This is our second simplehuman garbage can. I needed to downsize so we gave our large can to our daughter with her larger family. We love the new dual compartment one but don't understand why the larger blue recycling container takes the white H bags instead of the blue ones. It makes more sense to me to have the blue bags in the blue container and the white ones in the regular garbage container. Was a nurse for 45 years and think that it would have been more logical. Any reason for this? Otherwise I love the can and have more space. My daughter is enjoying our old, but like brand new can .

Both our code H and code V liners are available in white, blue and clear. This means that you can use whichever color for either container that best suits your needs.

I'm in love with my trashcan

I compared all the specs of all the recycler cans before deciding to purchase this trash can. I really love that the recycling side is so big (I believe it's the largest one, at 30L capacity). I produce very little trash, so the right trash side being so small is great for me. The step feels sturdy and the can lid does lower slowly and smoothly. I love the lock feature that allows it to stay fully open when needed for emptying its contents. It did arrive with a dent in the stainless steel outer part of it, but I just smoothed it back out from the inside and the imperfection is not visible where I'm keeping the can, so I didn't bother to contact them for a replacement during these times of the pandemic. I'm using the custom liners for the trash side, and just wiping out the recycling side with a rag and diluted vinegar when it happens to get dirty. It's so easy to clean and take care of, and makes my kitchen look more streamlined. I love it!

I purchased this for my mother who needed both trash and a recycle receptacles. It is perfect! The size is great and the right sized replacement bags are easy to use and don't get overloaded. It looks great too! I couldn't be more pleased.
