Needs place for trash liners

My other dual compartment simple human step can has a slot in the back for trash bags, this one does not and requires them to be stored separately which is not ideal. Also the lid is flimsier but the surface does a bette job of not showing fingerprints.

Nice to have the trash and recycling next to each other. Lid closes quietly. Fits perfect against the island counter side. Looks neat and clean.

living in a tiny nyc apartment I don’t have the space for both trash and recycling and this is perfect! As someone who also has less trash than recycling the different sizing is great :) highly recommend!

Great space saver!

We bought this to replace two cans this size that we were using for trash and recycle. We also got the dockable compost caddy to replace the container we kept under our sink. In the time we’ve had this can, we emptied the recycle and compost twice for one emptying of the smaller trash container. If you still put a lot of things in the trash, this probably isn’t for you, but if you’re like me and composting/recycling as much as possible, you’ll love this can!

A Sleek Pretty Design with Some Functionality Flaw

Very speedy order processing
One can’t have both fully functionality together with sleek light look.
The lid is not as tight as desired for odor barrier.
The partition results in the smaller bin just about useless: too small!
The trash side as intended was not big enough to shake crumbs in. I switched and find it more functional.
The bottom black plastic trim still looks unfinished at base. I think this item needs redesign.
If you send me a department email I’ll send a pic of what I mean.
The trash bags are too particular to Simple Human. Not EVERYBODY wants to buy everyday items from just one mail in co.
