Design improvement!

We’re huge simplehuman fans and have many products throughout our home. We had the larger version of this garbage for years and recently purchased this one for a new part of our house. I swear the design is even better. The closing mechanism is quiet and ultra slow, making for an all around great experience when dealing with utterly unpleasant thing such as rubbish. Keep up the good work, simplehuman!

I have had a simple human trash can for several years that works great! I needed a smaller one for my mother’s house but couldn’t find any in stores. Then I found the Simple Human website and found the perfect size for her kitchen. Looks and works great!

I’m very pleased with this round step can. It’s aesthetically beautiful & very sturdy. The plastic bags fit so well. No slippage over the edge spoiling the view! One small detail, however: I’m a stickler for a lid that stays up while I’m cooking. Mine makes a huge noise—sometimes— when I position it so. Makes me feel as if I’m breaking it. Other times it stays put nicely without the noise. All in all, a terrific addition to the kitchen.

This can is designed to open when you step on the pedal and close when you release it. In order to lock the lid in the open position, simply lift the lid, by hand, from the closed position and it will lock open without making any noise.

I had moved & I needed to buy a new trashcan. It was replacing my old simplehuman trashcan that was 10 years old. This one was perfect shape & size for the kitchen. The quality is great like my old one. It's very functional & I love the style!!!

This is a replacement of one we had for many years but due to sant air environment it rusted the internal parts. We live the compact size and shape.

fits in with my dark kitchen appliances

Had to return two defected trash cans to get a third one. Stellar customer service, can say it is the best. Purchased this trash can because of its height and size, fits right in the corner of my kitchen. I never have to bend over to throw out the trash anymore. Also, it is great for closing off the smell from your trash. Pondered on this trash can for about a month, I can say it is worth it.

Almost Perfect

This is such a wonderful product! Unfortunately, after 1 month of usage it seems to make a banging noise when it closes. Besides the noise it makes, it's really a great garbage can.
