A trash can that will actually last more than 10 years!

My previous trash can lasted more than 10 years and it was from Simplehuman. I bought the same model and noticed this new one was made even sturdier so I have no doubt it will last even more!

nice for what it is, tough to use standard trash bags/liners

I had a simplehuman can that had a plastic ring that lifted and then came down around the liner to hold it in place. I could use generic liners and even empty bags from my wood pellets as trash bags.
With this can, there is no ring holding the bag, and so it's harder to use non-simplehuman liners as you have to tuck the excess down the sides of the inner can, a challenge to do. I don't love this "feature".

Our classic cans feature a removable bucket with a bag tuck. Any excess bag can be threaded through that to keep it tightly in place.

Fits nicely is our small kitchen, looks great, is easy to clean, and we have not had a single bag fall in!!!! The ability to lift the inner can up and rest it tilting forward while changing the bag is such a nice feature. Keeps things mess free and allows our kids to very successfully help with garbage duties! We have only had the garbage can for about a month, but bought it after going through many cans which did not hold up or became disgusting. My parents have had this can for YEARS!! Glad we finally invested just a little bit more into a garbage can that will last! Thank you Simplehuman for making the little things in life just a little easier!
