I have owned 2 of the older models of this tea kettle, one at work and one at home and they have been work horses. Both still work but the connection to the base needed jiggling for it to start. Thought I would try out this new model (with plastic window) as I still like this shape before it is discontinued. So far, it is fine, woking well and I use it many times all day (I have a tea drinking habit.)
I would recommend this to a friend!
