This tablet has been great! It is the BEST value in the tablet markte.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, just plain awesome tab
Cons: Not high def, there is a minor wi-fi issue
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not better than an ipad but not worse either

This is a good product with many interesting features. I like the form factor as you can hold it with one hand. It is very light weight. It is a little less intuitive than the ipad in some ways but this is because android is more sophisticated in terms of what it can do but not necessarily in how it does it (interface). It suits my purposes perfectly. I needed an android device to port my code to from ios and this is an exceedingly inexpensive and simple way to do it with the Galaxy Tab. If you need an android device for whatever this seems to fit the bill. The galaxy tab isn't as smooth graphics wise as the ipad but it isn't that bad either. I mean it does cost almost $200 less.
Other thoughts: I wish this has the ability to use ICC profiles. I know nobody else does this. Could Samsung be the first? Maybe some day.

Cons: slower than ipad, more complicated interface than ipad

I am very happy with this product. I do think that it would have been very helpful if you included a booklet that told you how to use your product. I did not get one with my product and it was only from purchasing a app. online from Kindle books that I got the help I needed to understand all the products uses and how to use the tablet.
Pros: Realistic color, Lightweight

I use my Galaxy Tab 7.0 WiFi for everything! We watch movies on the plane while traveling, we use it to control our TiVo as a remote, we stream music to our TiVo to play on our home theatre system. We use the Kindle App to read books anywhere. We use it in the kitchen to find recipes and it's so easy to take everywhere. We use Google Voice so we can text our friends' phones and Qik video chat looks great on it. It fits in my purse. I love it.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, versitile
Cons: no hdmi output

I love being able to read the news before I start my day. I am looking at fabricating a strap that will allow me to hold the tablet in one hand while laying down. My wife will use it only on the stand.

Cons: weight, long startup

OK tablet, needs update badly

received as Christmas present, performs OK, am frustrated no OS update forthcoming. FROYO is sluggish, some apps on the marketplace are incompatible with FROYO. Also processor is slow, I should have read entire spec sheet and returned for larger version. I will continue to use until I settle on another tablet in the future. If it would receive Gingerbread I would consider keeping it long term. Not being able to remove aps that came with the unit is frustrating, should not have to be a hacker to do so. If it's mine I should be able to run whatever aps I want and delete what I don't need or want

Cons: stuck at froyo
