Excellent Tablet, Superior Performance

I did my homework before purchasing a tablet, and boy, did it pay off. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Wifi Only is by far the best tablet I've seen.
The overall appearance of the tablet is sleek, and futuristic. The features it contains were extremely useful. Once you turn the thing on, it brings you to the homescreen where most of the "important" apps are located, such as the camera and internet browser.
There are TONS of apps available at the Android Market, so don't be disappointed when you see the pre-loaded ones already in the Tablet.
The only "con" I see in this tablet is the inability to connect to the internet via USB cord when plugged into a computer (any computer). What I mean is, you cannot access your computer's internet from your tablet, which I see is a useful thing when you're downloading apps and stuff.
But I didn't really care about that, because I have a wireless router at home that provides the WiFi I need.
If I were to give a grade on this tablet out of a 100, I would give it a 96/100. If you're looking for a tablet, or considering buying a tablet, look no further.

Cons: cannot use computer's internet via usb cord

Beat the Ipad all to heck! I can put it in my cargo pocket and carry it on the airplane. I can put my nook account on it and leave the Color Nook at home. This was a good investment. It found my Samsung printer automatically and prints beautifully.
Pros: Lightweight, prints seamlessly

Great Tablet

I was looking around for a table with no contracts to worry about. I just wanted something to do some web surfing and a few other minor things with. I am replacing my laptop with this unit and so far I am very satisfied with its performance. The screen is absolutely beautiful with excellent clarity. I would highly recommend this table if you don't need the phone annual contracts.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: little expensive but not bad

Samsung Galaxy Wifi Tab Is Wonderful

I have had my galaxy tab about a week now and I simply Love it!! I also own a Ipad and both are great but iI think the Galaxy Tab has the Ipad beat in a lot of ways. Love! Love! Love! This Tablet.

I purchased the Galaxy Tab 7" (WiFi Only) after much research. I was not disapppointed, it is everything I was hoping it would be. I am able to connect to my wireless router and use it around my home or if in range of a signal. Just finished reading a book on the Amazon Kindle App. that I started on my computer at home. Wonderful experience!
There are so many apps available, I still have not gone thru all of them. Have not had to purchase any because of the free ones offered. I would recommend anyone buy the Galaxy Tablet. I use a Galaxy smartphone and it is so easy to link the 2 and transfer my information. So much easier to carry with me than a laptop or netbook. It is fast and fun!

This is the first Android machine I have ever owned and it takes a while to get used to. However, once I get used to how things are done, I really love it. I bought this machine for emailing, going to the web, playing my collection of operas and showing some pps files. The fact that this machine supports flash video makes it much more useful. The office Suite Pro is a full fledged office software and it can read and edit Microsoft Word documents and Excel documents. I can also view my pps files and pdf files. I do have an iPad but it cannot do most of the above. The fact that the machine has a slot that can accept a micro SDHC card makes it expandable up to 32 GB, another feature Ipad does not have. The screen size of 7" makes sense for playing videos in mp4 format. I understand why mp4 format is used in these machines because of its size. The file size of one hour of a video in mp4 format is only 250 MB while a DVD quality (mp2 format) video will be around 1.5 GB. When you play a mp4 video in an iPod, it will be sharp and clear. However, when you plays it in a 10 in tablet (such as iPad), it becomes almost unwatchable. The size of Samsung (7") is the most optimized size. It preserves the requirement of small video file size but the video is still quite watchable. In a way, the machine added some important features that iPad ignored.

Cons: needs better docmentation

I love this tablet

I really wanted something smaller to use when traveling & I didn't want to invest in an IPad. I originally purchased an Archos tablet, but it wouldn't do anything I wanted it to so I got the Galaxy Tab. I absolutely love it. I have my books, games, appointments, everything I need at my fingertips. It is absolutely amazing.

Love the WiFi 7" tablet

I bought the WiFi 7" tablet after checking out other tablets and decided I like the 7" format better. It is easier to hold, carry and the viewing size is perfect for on the go browsing and email. I already have an Android phone and working with the Galaxy is a breeze. All of my apps are the same and the features are perfect when I need to transition to a larger screen but don't need to start up the PC.
The sound is great too. The built in speakers are on the edge and not on the back of the device this is way better. When connected to my stereo the sound quality is excellent.
The Galaxy is very responsive. The battery life is not as long as some other pads I tried but managed properly can last a good while. I found this to be true of my
Android phone as well.
