Good but WiFi trouble

Really enjoy it but have had trouble getting it to stay connected to router. Had to assign it a static IP address and that solved the problem but shouldn't have to do that.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

I could not wait to get one of these. Best Android tablet around at the time* Great fit for one-handed use and it can fit in my coat pocket. Very portable, Amazing display.
*now after it's release we all discovered it was not the same hardware underneath. The 3G models release last year had the Hummingbird processor, this WiFi model does have a 1GHz chip but not as good as the Hummingbird. The GPU was different too, model numbers seem close but in real world use I can see a different in the SGX530 & SGX540 which in "tests" is 6x the power. Now I have a SGH-I897 and the WiFi Tab didn't match that in performance, now I know there is a resolution difference but the Tab couldn't play videos that my phone could.. should be equal or the other way around.
Great Tablet nonetheless, If you don't have a Galaxy S phone you will love this tablet, if so, but the 3G version even if you are just going to use it as a WiFI device like me.

Cons: Did not meet expectations, specs do not equal 3g models

Every day i find a new app that are superior than the other white tab! Whether for work, school or play, this tablet ROCKS!
Can't leave home without my Galaxy TAB :-)

This is one of the best tabs in the market. Made with the best material available. no shortcuts here. The screen quality is the best!! Love it.

This is my first venture into this world. I am 75 years young and I am totally excited about my Tab. It does all that I expected and about a million things I didn't expect or anticipate. I got it for Christmas and I am still learning daily what it can do for me. I use it everywhere I can pick up a Wi-Fi signal, which is a lot of places. I use it whenever my wife isn't using it. Which isn't as often as I would like. If my time with it gets any shorter, I guess I will have to purchase another. The device has performed flawlessly since unpacking. So, if you are new to this as I was, jump in with both feet. I promise you will be swimming immediately. Get one, you won't be sorry

I've purchased this galaxy tab since November of 2010 and I loved it. I can watch movies with flash player and the size is perfect to fit in my purse.
