The only reason It's not a 5 is because of the non-committal nature of the answer to the question "Will it be upgraded to Gingerbread?"

Nice 7" for first time tablet users!

This is a nice tablet for new tablet users! I bought the wifi only model, but wished for 3G. It was my first one & enjoyed it will I had it. I liked the pre-loaded "Notes" and Calendar Apps. But it is not lightweight & is a bit bulky. I would recommend this tablet!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: Too big
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect size, just missing gingerbread updates

Great size tablet

Bought this tablet for use as a wi-fi only tablet and for its size. Have been really pleased. Only down side is the lack of directions on usage. I have learned a lot by trial and error but have sure drained the battery while doing so. All in all I give it high marks and would definitely recommend it to all. You can put your Nook and Kindle both on here and they work great. You can access your Work documents via email check all email accounts and even communicate with all your facebook buddies. A great purchase!!

Does What It Is Supposed To

The Samsung Galaxy Tab does what it is supposed to, without costing an arm and a leg. Right out of the box, it is easy to set-up and begin using basic functions. Of course, any experience with Android powered devices makes it faster to get acquainted with the Galaxy tablet.
Battery life is excellent, wi-fi reception is better than average, and the menu functions are intuitive and simple. The smaller size makes this model easy to carry with you, yet the screen is large enough to be easy on the eyes.
The only disappointing things are the Samsung App Market (not much there) and a full instruction book is not included in the box. The Samsung market is no big deal, as you have full access to the google android market to download apps.
All in all, a good value considering the relative low cost.

Great product for the price

Overall, this is an outstanding product. I have to say I am a little disappointed that some of the features have been scaled back from the 3G versions most importantly the bluetooth functionality. I am able to use it for what I intend to use it for and I have had no other issues. Thanks and keep up the good work.
