This device is highly recommended for anyone that needs a computer "on the go". It does take some getting used to, especially how to navigate the screen with your fingers in lieu of a full keyboard but after a few hours using the device, you'll be a pro. I have found that I do need a stylus to assist me, especially when on facebook and having to tab various areas of the screen. Having this device for the game applications alone are enough to warrant you purchasing the device. For travel, it's an incredible device rather than having to lug around a full lap top computer. I love the fact that I could purchase this device without having to go into a contract with a wireless carrier.
I mainly wanted to play easy games such as solitaire, yahtzee and word games while watching tv. Also wanted to be able to check my personal emails and facebook. The Galaxy Tab does all that and more. Also like reading my Kindle books and other e-books at night, with the ability to sync to my Kindle. I'm really enjoying it.
i like this little Tablet, it small and portal. it run pritty good. just need to get use to it since im coming from an ipad.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color
I would recommend this to a friend!

love it love it, it is like a small computer! You can take it anywhere where you can get WiFi. it is so small it is great to take places instead of a laptop.
I bought the Samsung Galaxy Tab in order to replace my Samsung Netbook after it had been damaged. After I received the Galaxy Tab, I took some time to get used to the multi-touch Android OS. It didn't take long before I was navigating like a pro. Since my purchase, I have had no major issues with the tablet's speed or power. The Galaxy Tab is sleek and smooth, and has taken everything I've thrown its way with flying colors. Since I am also currently becoming more familiar with Unix in my new job, the Android Linux-based OS is also a big advantage for me. I am happy with my purchase, and would recommend it to anyone. Even my 4 year old can use this tab with great efficiency.
I had wanted an E-reader but also something that I could view and edit photos on. I am an amateur photographer and end up with a lot of photos. The Galaxy Tab has remarkable clarity and color I can view crop and decide just which pictures I want to print. The Wi-Fi only is fine for me I have Wi-Fi at home & work and lots a restaurants have free Wi-Fi so I can gen on like just about anywhere I want. The App selection at Android Market is good. The size is perfect the 10" tablets are just a we bit big to take around. Customer support was quick and helpful when I had a little trouble with the camera when I first got it. It may be that i did not let the media scanner finish before i tried to use the camera. Would absolutely recommend this product!
I have long been an Apple fan and love my iPod touch 4G but this Galaxy Tab is awesome!! You have more freedom than you would with an Apple product and the performace is excellent. This may not replace a laptop but it comes VERY close! This is perfect for the mobile geek and anybody that wants to keep in touch on the fly. I have tried other tablets plus an iPad and the size and functionality of this unit is the best all around. Definitley worth the price!!!!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, great battery life
I would recommend this to a friend!

Samsung Needs to Upgrade Several Tab Areas

Tried to download Skype unsucessfully from the Skype site (Skype only supports the Galaxy Tab phone version-not the Wi-Fi only version on their site). Returned Tab. Repurchased Tab when learned that Skype could be downloaded exclusively from the Tab Android Market Application. Lots of people report the same problem on the internet (lots of confusion). Samsung should get the message out how to successfully download Skype.
Purchased Samsung Protective Easel Case. The case does not have a hole in the rear for the back facing lens. Extremely difficult to remove camera from case to take photos. Case needs to be modified.
USB power connection cable easily abraded. Had to cover abrasion with electrical tape to protect exposed wires. Not covered by warranty.
