I have only had this one hour so far and a lot to learn, but the tablet walks you through setup an I feel this being my first tablet it will get me started in using something smaller that I can carry with me I'm looking forward to learning much more!

Love this tab. Perfect size for on the go, the front and rear facing cameras makes it easier to take pics and videos for any occasion.

I just got my Galaxy 7" wifi tab a couple of months ago used for a very good value from what my research up to then showed. I have been very happy with it. It does hang once in a great while and I have to reboot it. I've been streaming movies, playing games, email, Facebook, etc... without much problem. The audio is excellent, especially with headphones. My only real complaints are: Most walkin retailers no longer carry accessories for it and I wish it had built in A/V ports.

Good Hardware, but lack of Software (no Honeycomb)

The Galaxy tab (WIFI) is a good reader, and it works OK searching the web, and have several apps to use in the android and Samsung market.
But Samsung it does not offer a update of the OS, which I think is unfair with the customers whom has this tablet. The focus is the new products (which I understand), but what a about customer support for the ones whom already got older products?? and Just remember, this tab doesn't have more than two years in the market yet.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: froyo os, no updates
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good but could be great

I really like th GT P1010 and use it regularly. But it would be great if they upgraded the firmware to Gingerbread. This has been done in many locations but not in the USA. I understand it make the Tab more responsive and reduces lagging.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: needs firmware upgrade
