Nice, but underpowered

Have owned the 7-inch Tab WiFi for about four months. Spend a lot of time on it every day, but am constantly reminded, by the frequent freezing and slow refresh rates, that this model is on an older operating system than the units sold by the phone carriers - a fact I discovered subsequent to purchase. If I had to do over, I would have likely chosen a product with the most current operating system.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

cant get it to charge in the car no os upgrades for wifi only but can get it on sprint verizon and others not fair
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Dissappointed with the lack of updates

I had hoped to be able to upgrade to gingerbread without having to root the device. But that is not the case, Samsung apparently is not going to release this update.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations

Really simple and easy to use - quick

This product has done everything I wanted it to do and more. It is the perfect size for reading and watching yet small enough to carry around. With the exception of one disapointment (output av through an av cable adapter does not work) this unit has been GREAT! - Go for it, best smaller tab out there!

Great Wi-Fi Device

I purchased this BECAUSE it was wi-fi only, and has expandable memory. I would have purchased the 3G version, but I have 3 Android smartphones with Hot Spot capabilities, so it wasn't really worth it to me to have another device with a data plan. I love this tablet. I'm really hoping that some form of Gingerbread 2.3.xx releases for this, and it would really be the ideal device. I work in mobile retail electronics and I use this as an example every single day. It basically sells itself, but I'm more than happy to show off all of the really great features of this tablet to each and every person I encounter. I've even sold people on this tablet while I'm NOT working. It's really that great! I can hardly wait for the 8.9 & 10.1 versions to come out!!! Keep up the great work, Samsung!!!

I use this device to read e-mail, play games and as an e-reader. This is a terrific product. Great size and the battery charge last a long time.

Happy with my Compact and Complete Tablet. I wanted an IPad but my wife felt this tablet would fit my needs better. The PRO Adobe Flash.

I use this as a business tool, book reader and organizer. For business, it is light to carry (even with the keyboard dock) and travels well. Can't be beat as a book reader as it fits in the hand like a paperback and you can use reading software from all of the large ebook retailers. The organizing features are very nice though not integrated. Email on the road is very easy.
